On Friday 12 September, Sophie Kuiper of Lingonberry Translations gave an introduction to Finnish literature at the 11th edition of PANCART: art and pancakes evenings for art lovers in Amsterdam. She spoke about what makes translating Finnish literature challenging but also delightful, and read a chapter from her current translation project: Tommi Kinnunen's novel Neljäntienristeys ('Where four roads meet'), translated into English exclusively for PANCART.
